Bree Pierce
Associate
Bree maintains a broad civil and commercial litigation practice. She has experience in contract, shareholder and partnership, construction, insolvency, real property, fraud, negligence, and administrative disputes. Bree regularly appears before all levels of courts in Ontario. She also has experience before the License Appeal Tribunal, Ontario Land Tribunal, Condominium Authority Tribunal, and Human Rights Tribunal.
Before joining Paris & Sayer, Bree summered, articled, and worked at a prominent Bay Street firm in Toronto. Highlights from her experience at this firm include making the submissions that successfully led to a Mareva injunction and representing clients in precedent-setting cases in the mining and private career college industries.
Bree is a graduate of the dual program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy, where she graduated in the top of her class. She is licensed to practise law in both Ontario and Colorado. Prior to law school, she received an extremely practical degree from the University of Toronto, where she double majored in ancient history and english.
In her free time, Bree enjoys crocheting sweaters for her unappreciative fur family, listening to live music, volunteering with a greyhound rescue, and traveling, having previously worked as a flight attendant and on a cruise ship. She also "enjoys" running.
